I am a microeconomist with research interests especially in financial economics and organizational economics. Recently I have done research on remote work, innovation, and wasteful spending in organizations, as well as on asymmetric information and welfare in financial markets. I like to share findings beyond the ivory tower, so you can also find a policy and media page here.

Did you know: Nobel Prize winner Oliver Hart recalled of his time at the University of Essex that someone came into his office one day and took away a working light bulb as part of financial savings measures?
